If I have asked you to host a repeater, I hope you will be able to fund your unit as I have funded mine. However, in some cases I have asked individuals to host repeaters who are not otherwise involved in emergency preparedness or communication. For those situations, it would not be appropriate to expect the hosts to cover the cost themselves.
To ensure these community repeaters are supported, I am inviting donations. The balance of the fund, whether positive or (negative), reflects the difference between what has been donated and what I have personally spent.
